We so missed you when you moved away from Redlynch.....our canasta evenings were such fun,,,,,,you were such good company and a good friend to Rusty, introducing him to beating with the shoot, and putting up with his limited golf.I remember how the vodka bottle was always to hand.......a very good host indeed ! We have so many wonderful memories of a very dear friend,a lovely holiday at the Italian lakes, when we even payed canasta in the afternoon an addiction I think !
My dearest Uncle Roger. I was your first niece, your “Grub”. I have so many happy memories. One of the earliest is that of being driven in your open topped sports car aged maybe four, sitting on cushions so I could see out, with a headscarf on. You were a constant source of support especially in the recent difficult years. My Mum and Dad loved you dearly as do I. Always remembered with love.
