One of my fondest memories of Grandpa is when I was younger, and every time we visited we choose an item out of his box of treasures that he had collected throughout his life. Every item came with an incredible story and I remember being fixated on his tales. Grandpa was an amazing person to be around! He cared so much about what was going on in my life and brought such positive energy and laughter into every room he entered, even during the hardest of times. I hope that Grandpa will be watching down on me as I fill my own box of treasures.
