Your son Ian xxx 5th July 2018

Dad I don’t know how to write this, to capture all that you are and what you mean to me in just a few words. To capture your ability to love and laugh. Your courage, how you always put others feelings before yours. I was lucky enough to have had the chance to move in with you, spend real time talking and fighting this terrible disease with you and boy did we have ago. Meeting with Dr’s changing medication, eating ice cream, walking up and down the stairs when the pain in your legs got too much. You never quite and you showed a courage that few will ever pocess but more than that an ability to put others feelings before yours. I think you knew it was near the end but you fought for me, to help me cope when you probably just wanted to whatch the rugby. Dad simply put you just made everything better not just for me but my family too. I know I was lucky to have had you in my life and beyond proud to have known you and call you Dad x
